SuperGuy is one of Australia’s leading independent sources for superannuation and retirement planning. With over a million annual readers and nearly 50,000 YouTube subscribers, we’re passionate about educating Australians to make confident retirement decisions through articles, guides, and videos. Due to rapid growth, we’re looking for an experienced freelance copywriter to join our team.

This is a flexible, fully remote role, but applicants must be based in Australia to be considered.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll write 2-4 articles per month on superannuation and retirement planning, breaking down complex topics into easy-to-understand, actionable content.
• Work closely with our marketing and editorial team to shape content outlines, structure, and direction.
• Follow and incorporate our company’s style guide into your writing.
• Learn and apply SEO best practices, including on-page optimisation, to improve content visibility.
• Review and refine content based on feedback, ensuring accuracy, clarity and readiness for publication.

Ideal Candidate

• Australian, native English speaker.
• Proven experience in writing digital content, ideally on superannuation, retirement planning, or personal finance.
• Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong research skills to break down complex superannuation and retirement topics into simple, easy-to-understand language.
• Open to feedback.
• Ability to meet deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
• Proficient computer skills including Google Docs.
• Interest in SEO and content marketing, with a willingness to develop skills in these areas.
• Comfortable using AI-powered writing tools to boost productivity while maintaining originality.
• Portfolio of published articles showcasing writing expertise.
• BONUS: Experience in writing other forms of content including social media posts, video scripts, website content.
